Franciscan Dialogue Program 2025 Wraps Up in Cebu

Fra Jude Sandig, OFMConv., took part in the Franciscan Dialogue Program (FDP) held from June 16 to July 5, 2025, at the FSPIF Center in Talamban, Cebu. The event gathered sixteen participants: ten from the OFM, one from OFMCap., one from OFMConv., two from the SFIC, and two from FSPIF.

Themed “Radiating Dialogue in Harmony with the Rest of God’s Creation at the Heart of the Inter-Franciscan Family,” the program was divided into three key phases:

1. Cognitive Phase – featured talks on dialogue, visits to Hindu temples and a mosque, and a feeding program for the Badjao community.
2. Affective and Psychomotor Phase – included an immersion at the MSC Parish in Camotes Island.
3. Integration Phase – involved sharing and processing experiences, formulating personal commitments, conducting evaluations, and celebrating Franciscan joy.
   

The program was spearheaded by Fra Daniel Borromeo, OFM, together with the FDP team, promoting interfaith understanding and communal harmony within the Franciscan family.
