Visit of St. Joseph of Cupertino’s Relic to Lumban, Laguna

On September 7, 2025, friars from St. Maximilian Kolbe Friary in Parañaque City traveled to Lumban, Laguna, for the visit of the relic (ex ossibus) of St. Joseph of Cupertino. The pastors of St. Sebastian Parish, together with parishioners and devotees, warmly welcomed the relic with deep faith. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass was presided over by Fra Bernard Ma. Anuta, OFMConv., Custodial Econom of the Custody, and concelebrated with Rev. Fr. Edilberto Mesias, MF, the parish priest. After the Mass, devotees received blessings, including the traditional blessing of pens and pencils for students preparing for examinations. The relic will remain at the parish until September 14, before being returned to the friary by parishioners and devotees of Lumban.
