In preparation for the upcoming Custodial Chapter this year, the Minister General, Fra Carlos Trovarelli, OFMConv., delegated the FAMC Assistant General, Fra Giuseppe Myoungjin Park, OFMConv., to conduct a canonical visitation to the Provincial Custody of the Immaculate Conception and Bl. Bonaventure of Potenza in the Philippines.
Fra Giuseppe arrived in the Philippines on April 25, 2025. From April 27 to May 12, he visited the various communities of the Custody, beginning with the Filial House at San Juan Mamuniag Parish in San Juan, Ilocos Sur. During his time there, he also witnessed the signing of the renewal of the Memorandum of Agreement between the Archdiocese—represented by Archbishop Marlo Peralta, D.D.—and the Parish, represented by Fra Emmanuel Giva, Provincial Custos, and Fra Nicholas Dhelle SOLIS, Parish Priest.
He then continued his visitation to the following friaries:

During these visits, Fra Giuseppe held personal conversations with each Solemnly Professed friar. For the Simply Professed friars, Novices, and Postulants, he met with them in group settings. He also had the opportunity to meet some members of the Militia Immaculata, the Secular Franciscan Order, and the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Assisi.
At the conclusion of his visit, Fra Giuseppe expressed his gratitude for the warm hospitality he received, noting that he felt very much at home with the friars. This marked his first canonical visit as the FAMC Assistant General.
