On November 29, 2025, the Feast of All Saints of the Seraphic Order, Friar Jude M. Sandig, OFMConv., made his Perpetual Profession of Solemn Vows into the hands of Fra Emmanuel Giva, OFMConv., Provincial Custos. The Profession was celebrated at San Joaquin Parish Church in San Joaquin, Iloilo—Fra Jude’s hometown.
This marked a first in the history of the Custody, as the Profession was held outside Metro Manila to allow Fra Jude’s parents, who are no longer able to travel due to advanced age, to be present. Friars from various communities journeyed to San Joaquin to witness and celebrate this significant moment.
The solemn occasion was further honored by the presence of Fra Giuseppe Myoungjin Park, OFMConv., Assistant General for the FAMC, as well as the parish priest of San Joaquin, Rev. Fr. Agapito Losaria, who concelebrated the Mass.

In his homily, Fra Emmanuel reflected on the profound connection between the approval of the Rule of St. Francis and the celebration of All Saints of the Seraphic Order. He recalled that through the Rule authored by St. Francis and approved by the Pope, countless men and women who faithfully followed it are now numbered among the saints in heaven. He encouraged the friars to strive earnestly to live and observe the Rule, in the hope that they too may one day be counted among the saints.
