The Militia of the Immaculata National Philippines celebrated its 105th anniversary last October 14 – 16, 2022. The event was held at the Immaculata Retreat House in Novaliches, Quezon City.
Fra John Nathan Maagma, OFMConv., Director of Immaculata Retreat House, welcomed the members with his opening remarks. Later in the evening, the opening Mass and discussion on the MI National Statutes was facilitated by Fra Andrew Datoy, OFMConv., MI National Spiritual Assistant.
On the following day, a recollection was held by Fray Robert Castellano, OP on the topic “Significance of Marian Devotion and Mission to the Modern Family.” In the afternoon, Bro. Marco Evangelista, MI presented an apologetic talk on the topic “Why Mary? Defending Our Catholic Marian Faith”, followed by Fra Dominic Lim, OFMConv., with the topic “Who are you, O Immaculata?” There were various group presentations in the evening.
As part of the culmination, a medical mission was spearheaded by the MI Novaliches Circle. There were participants from different MI circles from Dolores, San Agustin, Multinational, Las Piñas, and Novaliches.
