Pamilya Mo, Pamilya Ko, Isang Pamilyang Franciskano: Family Day 2025

St. Maximilian Friary in Parañaque City celebrated its Family Day on December 7, 2025. Families began arriving in the morning and shared breakfast together.

At 9:30 a.m., the families gathered at the Domus Mariae Hall, where they were warmly welcomed by Fra Augustine Asilo, OFMConv. and Fra Yosef Amedo, OFMConv. The opening remarks were delivered by Fra Emmanuel Giva, OFMConv., the Provincial Custos.

Fra Daniel Sugatan, OFMConv. then offered a reflection on the theme “Pamilya mo, Pamilya ko, Isang Pamilyang Franciskano”, highlighting the spirit of shared faith and fraternity. This was followed by the celebration of the Holy Mass, presided over by Fra Emmanuel.

After the Mass, the families gathered for a group photo, followed by lunch at around 12:00 noon. The afternoon featured question-and-answer games, after which the student friars serenaded the families with Christmas songs.

The program concluded with closing remarks and a blessing from Fra Bernard Anuta, OFMConv., Vice Rector of the Student Friars. The rest of the day was left open for fellowship and bonding among the friars and their families.
