Student Friars Renew Vows on the Solemnity of St. Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary

On March 19, 2025, at St. Maximilian Friary and Formation House, three student friars—Friar Charbel Ma. Araracap, OFMConv., Friar Giovanni Ma. Elemos, OFMConv., and Friar Bernadetto Ma. Diones, OFMConv.—renewed their religious vows on the Solemnity of St. Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The solemn Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Friar Emmanuel Ma. Giva, OFMConv., Provincial Custos of the Philippine Custody. During the Mass, the friars reaffirmed their commitment to live as Conventual Franciscan Friars Minor, embracing the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity, and obedience.

Inspired by the example of St. Joseph—protector of the Holy Family and a model of humility and faithful service—these friars continue their journey of formation with renewed devotion.

Please keep them in your prayers as they deepen their vocation and grow in their Franciscan calling.
