An Invtation to Give Ourselves Entirely to God

We are now on the 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time. After growing in faith nourished by the Word and the Sacrament in these Ordinary Times, we are now challenged if we can give up all for Him. The Good News is that, giving up everything for Jesus is not a loss but a gain. We just need to trust in Him. He himself showed us the value of giving up or self-emptying. Jesus, though he was God, stripped himself of his divinity and took our humanity going even to the lowest point of being human so that He might be able to raise us up and restore our dignity as God’s sons and daughters.

The Good News is that, giving up everything for Jesus is not a loss but a gain.

Life’s winter is coming, and we must be ready. Our root should go deeper into our faith connecting with Jesus, our source of life, so that we can bear fruit when springtime comes, becoming food for the others, just like Jesus in the Eucharist.

As we celebrate the birth of our Blessed Mother, let us learn from her, who continues to sustain us, her children.
