As we journey in the world in the Ordinary Time in the Church's liturgical calendar, we are being nourished by the Holy Mother Church with the "Word" and with the "Body" and "Blood" of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Church wants us to grow in the knowledge and love of God in Jesus, through the Holy Spirit.
The more we become receptive to God through the Church, the more we grow as individuals and as Church, the Body of Christ.
As individuals grow with the Church nourishing them, the Church also grows. In the Early Church, that growth is both quality and quantity. The more we become receptive to God through the Church, the more we grow as individuals and as Church, the Body of Christ.
Gazing on Jesus whom we celebrate in the Eucharist, we are asked, as disciples of Christ, to preach the Good News by our way of living.
Let us allow the Word to nourish our lives so that we may become a Eucharist for others for their nourishment.
