Tagaytay City, St. Joseph Friary – Two Novices made their first profession of vows last August 15, 2022, Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary. Fra Yosef M. Amedo and Fra Giuseppe M. Castrojas promised to live in obedience, without anything of their own, and in chastity for one year into the hands of Fra Emmanuel Giva, OFMConv., the Provincial Custos.

On the same day, five junior friars namely: Fra Matthias M, Montero, OFMConv., Fra Gergory M. Salva, OFMConv. Fra Martin Gabito, OFMConv., Fra Isidore M. Ayon-ayon, OFMConv., and Fra Augustine M. Asilo, OFMConv. renewed their vows for another year. In his homily, Fra Emmanuel exhorted the community to imitate the humility of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who though was exulted by God, remained lowly and addressed herself only as maidservant.
