By Dying, Jesus Destroyed Our Death. By Rising, He Restored Our Life.

Today, the 21st Sunday in Ordinary Time, We see Jesus being asked the question: "Will only a few people be saved?". He diverted the topic into the more important question: "How to enter into Salvation and how urgent it is." Jesus came to gather the scattered children of Israel. His death brings life to the new born Church at the foot of the Cross.

Everytime we celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, we participate in that most beautiful event.

The sacrifice of Jesus which is the language of his tremendous love sustains the Church. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass being celebrated in all parts of the world allows us to participate in the great sacrifice of Jesus. The event is made present to us through the Holy Mass. We are brought to the greatest and the most important event in the history of mankind. We are privileged to witness it. Everytime we celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, we participate in that most beautiful event. It is a great privilege that only His sons and daughters enjoy.

Let us re-discover the depth and beauty of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Mary, our mother, invites us to go to her Son and "Do whatever her Son tells us to do!" Consecrating ourselves to Mary is letting ourselves be led by her to her Son Jesus, our Saviour.
